DC won by 1 wicket against LSG
DC captain Axar Patel won the toss and decided to bowl first. LSG scored a smashing 209 runs with two fast half-centuries from Nicholas Pooran 75(30 balls, 6×7, 4X6 ) and Mitchell Marsh 72(36 balls, 4×6, 6×6). David Miller has made the finishing touch with not out (27 from 19 balls, 4×1, 6×2). Captain Rishabh Pant scored zero and got out after playing 5 dot balls.
LSG is leading towards a big win against Delhi Capitals as DC lost 5 wickets halfway through their inning and LSG has scored 209-8 in 20 0vers. In reply to this, DC lost its big guns in the early stage; DC was 83-5 at the end of the 9th over. Though DC has made a reactive encounter with 167-7 in 16.1 overs.
After a dramatic twist and turn with consistent fall of wicket in the DC inning, Ashutosh Sharma and Vipraj Nigam did their best to finish the game for DC. DC won the match with 3 balls spare and scored (211-9 in 19.3 Overs)

In the DC inning opener Jake Fraser-McGurk, Porel and Sameer Rizvi failed to score in the double-digits. Faf du Plessis scored 28(18). Tristan Stubbs scored 34(22) balls and Vipraj Nigam 39(15). Man of The Match – Ashutosh Sharma scored a brilliant half-century and stood out in hitting a six and making DC win this match. The last over had a twist and turn when Rishabh Pant dropped Mohit Sharma in the final over. Vipraj Nigam has given an all-round performance while taking 1 wicket and scoring 39(15) with 5 fours and 2 sixes.
Finally, DC secured their first victory of this 18th IPL 2025 in the 4th game of the season while Rishabh Pant and LSG remain unlucky even after playing very good cricket and multiple star performances like Mitch Marsh, David Miller and Pooran.
Both sides did not look more stable in their unit; while DC was not playing KL Rahul and T Natarajan. LSG is missing Mohsin Khan, and Mayank Yadav in the fast bowling unit.
